It’s been a long time coming and I apologise for that …

You can blame Camtasia not working properly to create the demo video … luckily I also have Captivate on my machine so I had to use that instead …

This’ll be a bit of an anti-climax now, but anyway … it’s here …

So what’s the giveaway …?

It’s a small PHP script called “Confirm” that will (once implemented) force purchasers to agree to your terms and conditions before they can place an order …

There was a Javascript version of this which came with AutoWebLaw, but that had a major flaw that anyone could view the source code of the page and see the “Success” and “Failure” URLs …

This doesn’t sound like a big deal, but this can close a (potentially) huge legal loophole depending on what you’re selling …

Imagine, for example, you’re selling product with resale rights and you explicitly say in the sales copy “No Refunds” … by using the “Confirm” script, purchasers can’t order the product unless they agree they’ve read the terms and conditions …

Now I’m going to say upfront, it isn’t 100% full-proof but couple it with some strong legal copy, it should do the job …

Depending on my development schedule and if there’s enough interest, I might looking into developing it into a proper full-rounded program … but let’s see how it goes …

Anyway, enough with the chatter … download the sucker and have a play …

Cheers

Nick :)
